Tara Rose Walsh, age 33, of Pompano Beach, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2014 at West Side Regional Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1981 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Florida in 1990. She is survived by her loving parents, Jerry and Rose Marie Walsh, of Pompano Beach; and brother, Jerry II, of Frederick, Maryland. Tara is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Janesko, of Moosic, Pennsylvania; her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Catherine Walsh, of Scranton, Pennsylvania; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tara graduated from Stoneman Douglas High School and worked for Wyndham Resorts until an automobile accident left her with a traumatic brain injury.
Tara loved her family, friends, her cats, the beach, and watching football. She loved Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day and was very proud to be Irish. Tara was a beautiful, bright, loving person who touched many hearts. She will be forever missed by all that knew and loved her.
A private memorial service for the family was held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home officiated by Father Anthony Mulderry, Pastor at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
