passed away peacefully on
February 21, 2018. Born in Berlin, Germany, trained as a watchmaker, she emigrated to Canada in 1951. She moved to California in 1964, where she had a successful life and a career as a real estate broker. In 2002, she moved to South Florida with the love of her life, Sidney. They enjoyed traveling all over the world to the locations of her military children. She was proud to share her story of an immigrant who had four children serving in the United States Air Force.
Susanne leaves behind her loving husband, Sidney, children: Jeanette (Brian) Weinberg, Andrew (Cecilia) Heydeck, Patricia Frosch, and Caroline Drummond. She will also be missed by seven grandsons, Andrew (Tracey), Kyle (Adriana), Eli (Regan), Westley (Rachel), Andrew, Brandon, and Derek (Si), and her delights, great granddaughters Aubrie and Evalie.
A Remembrance Service will be held at John Knox Village, Pompano Beach, March 14 at 3:00 p.m. Susanne will be laid to rest at the Williamsburg Memorial Park, VA.
In honor of Susanne, who enjoyed the birds on the lake, those who desire may make memorial donations to the Maggie Goetz Bird Fund at John Knox Village Foundation, 651 SW 6th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
