PROFFITT, Stephen Eric, age 64, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, surrounded by his family. Steve was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was a lifelong resident of the Pompano Beach area. He was a graduate of Pompano Beach High School and received his degree in Business at Broward Community College. His employment included, but not limited to, Sears, Sears Business Systems, Allstate and AIG/VALIC, as a Financial Planner. His hobbies included fishing, whether salt or fresh water, hunting and showing off his Ford F150. He most loved being out on the water with a fishing rod in his hands.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Proffitt, son, Garrett Proffitt and daughter, Cheyenne Proffitt. His children were his pride and joy and raved about them to everyone. He is also survived by his brother, John Proffitt (wife Stacy) from Hiram, GA, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many dear friends. He touched so many lives and will be missed by all.
Viewing and service will be held on January 13, 2023, from 10am-12pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL.
