Words cannot express as well as actions do. I hope my actions told Ron what my words never got the chance to. Ron enriched my mom's life and guided her throughout the good and bad. So although I never told him this, i hope he knew that he was an important aspect of my life. He will always be remembered for his compassion, knowledge, abilities and every other aspect of his being.

“As you know so well, the passage of time never really heals the tragic memory of such a great loss, but we carry on, because we have to, because our loved one would want us to, and because there is still light to guide us in the world from the love they gave us.”

We carry on.

A man who loved deeply: his family, his friends, his animals. Twinkling eyes, huge smile, quick to laugh, a lust for life: That’s how I’ll always remember my dear friend of 42 years. His physicality belied a kind and gentle nature that endeared him to all whom he met. He lived a life worth celebrating and will be forever remembered with love and smiles. 

Rickie, he told me two weeks before he passed that he felt so very fortunate to have you, and he surely was. Thanks for taking such good care of our dear friend.  My deepest condolences to you, Paulina, and Greg.
