Paul W. Hitchcock, 80, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on August 6, 2012. Born and raised in New York, he served in the Navy. In 1968, Paul moved to South Florida to teach mathematics at Palm Beach Junior College until his retirement in 1995. As a professional photographer, Paul enjoyed traveling throughout the world. Paul was an excellent athlete having played baseball, hockey, golf and tennis.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife Rae and son Marc. He is survived by his wife, Sue Hitchcock, daughters Kristen (Garry) Walters, Kathleen (Tim) Parker and Shannon (Randy) Primm. Also, six grandchildren: Marc, Adam, Andrew, Kara-Rae, James, and Kathrine.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10 am at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 1925 Birkdale Rd., Wellington, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice by the Sea or the Alzheimer’s Association.
