From day one, Michael made his presence known. The most beautiful baby boy with the big sky blue eyes. Always happy. Always hungry!! Michael always wanted to be by his father’s side. From 9 years old he chose to go to work with daddy instead of watching cartoons or playing outside, with his friends. He learned valuable lessons in life from an early age … Work hard, never stop, have respect and loyalty and take the chance. He had that gambling spirit and that’s what Michael lived by. Michael was larger than life. He always took Giant Steps, no matter what. He was a fearless man with a keen instinct to see opportunities that others didn’t. Michael had several businesses throughout his life. Some great, some good, some not so good. But, he didn’t worry about that, he just got it done. On to the next opportunity and challenge. Big Mike had a heart of gold. His generosity flowed freely. His infectious laugh lit up the room. His love for his family was unconditional. He beamed when his kids were near. They were his pride and hoy. Michael was blessed and privileged to have his best buddy, his brother from another mother, Martin (Bubba) for 20 years who never left his side throughout it all.
We will miss you so. Our Big Boy. Our Gentle Giant. Our Michael.
