She graduated from Johnson City High School and went on to become a wife, mother, and homemaker. In 1994, Mary Jo married the love of her life, Thomas Michael Dillon, who predeceased her in 2001. They spent 7 wonderful years together and shared many travels and the deep love of their Catholic faith.
She is survived by her three children, Jacqueline Olson, Mary Beth Menhennett, and John R. Menhennett, Jr., two grandchildren, Jessica (Terry) McIntyre and Grace Menhennett, one great-grandchild, Killian McIntyre, two brothers, Michael (Gloria) McCormick of Johnson City, NY and Richard (Cheri) McCormick of Binghamton, NY along with their two daughters, Jennifer (Russell) Richardson and Kelly McCormick, both of Binghamton, NY.
Mary Jo loved horses, watching the Kentucky Derby, butterflies, spending time with family and enjoying a nice glass of wine to go with her McDonald’s hamburger and Mounds candy bar. Mary Jo loved wearing her jeans and jean jacket, so guests are welcomed to dress casually in her honor.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
