Lucia Ricci

Lucia Ricci, 86, of Deerfield Beach passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 after a brave battle against liver cancer. Lucy was born in Castrocielo, Italy, one of 11 Children of Agisilio Cerasi and Assunta DePastina. In 1946 she married Americo Ricci at the Church of Santa Lucia in Castrocielo. They immigrated to New York where she was employed by J.A. Jackson Corp. in Mamaroneck, NY for 20 years. Lucy loved to cook for her family and sew window treatments. She was known by all as someone who preferred quite time and was more comfortable with one-on-one situations. She was a Member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach for 25+ years.

Survived by husband, Americo; a homemaker and a mother of her 4 children Ralph, Marie, Antoinette and Mark; her 6 grandchildren Richard, Marie, Melissa, Julie, Vincent and Anthony and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2012 at FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, NORTH, 200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL, 33064 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Interment services will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pompano Beach, FL.
