Lorraine Frances Scrudders, age 75, of Lighthouse Point, Florida, passed away on November 14th, 2013. "Lori" was born on February 26th, 1938 in New Haven, Connecticut to Wooster and Dorothy Young. She was a graduate of the Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Miami, Florida. She loved her rewarding career as a nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she worked for over thirty years and found her second family. She enjoyed family, travel, shopping and snowmen. A wonderful mother, she leaves behind three beloved children to whom she devoted herself always - Sharon (Tim) Geibig, Eric (Tammy) Scrudders and Gregg Scrudders; nine beloved grandchildren - Lorrin, Amber, David, Kyle, Alec, Jonah, Owen, Julianne and Alexa; and 5 great grandchildren - Payton, Jacoby, Emory, Finley and Landry, and her loving sister, Barbara Young Bain (Victor). She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 17th at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062.
