Leslie grew up in St. Andrew Parish where he met and married Evelyn Mair. They had three children, two boys and a girl, Tony, Janet, and Barry. At the age of 31, Leslie moved with Evelyn and their three children to America. While in America Leslie and Evelyn had their fourth child, a second girl, Cavell. In America, they raised their four children, while Leslie worked in the Spirits Industry, until his retirement in 1989.
In 1991, Evelyn and Leslie left New York City for warmer climate, moving to the house they built in Vero Beach, Florida. After living in Vero Beach for four years, they built a house in Coral Springs, to be closer to family.
Leslie was known for his laughter, gardening, woodwork craft, and handy man skills. He was always willing to help with any home or gardening problems you had.
Leslie was an active member of Saint Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Coral Springs Florida, participating in many of the church activities, until Alzheimer's restricted his ability to participate.
Leslie is survived by his sisters and brother, Essie, Ruby, and Ruddy, his three children, Tony, Janet, and Barry, six grandchildren and three great grandsons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lots of cousins and friends to numerous to mention.
