Leo Bishop, born June 16, 1933, died May 1st at John Knox Village, where he resided with his wife Barbara. Leo and Barbara retired to Florida in 1992 after living in Oswego NY for most of their life. He was employed by Burritt Chevrolet in Oswego in a variety of positions until his retirement and was co-owner of Oswego Auto Parts with his wife Barbara.
Leo was a kind loving man with a good sense of humor who was married to Barbara for over 60 years, dedicating their lives to each other and rarely spending any time apart. Leo served in the Army and was married on October 5th, 1953 right before he left for Germany. Leo is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his nephew Michael Miller and his wife Holly and their 4 children. He is also survived by his sister Eithel in California as well as numerous nieces and nephews in upstate NY and California. A memorial service will be held at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Fl in the auditorium on May 9th at 11:30 am, with refreshments and snacks afterward.
