Juana Riano, age 103, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on August 31, 2016. She was born in Matanzas, Cuba on April 26, 1913. Juana graduated from University of Havana and received a PhD in education. She was married to Juan Riano on June 6, 1942.
She was a member of the Cuban Teachers in Exile and had a passion for flowers, children and music.
She is survived by her son Joseph Riano, grandchildren Kelly Ann and Kristy Marie and great grandchildren Tyler and Ava.
