Joseph Patrick Walsh

WALSH, Joseph Patrick 81 of Deerfield Beach passed away on October 30, 2013. He was born in So. Boston, Massachusetts to Patrick and Margaret Walsh. He served in the U.S. Navy . He was a Firefighter for 41 yrs in Boston until his retirement in 1997. He moved to Florida after retirement and became a member of the American Legion Post 142. Survived by his wife Joanne, his sons and daughter-in-laws Robert and Maryanna Walsh of Virginia and Joseph and Harriet of Arizona, his daughter and son-in-law Kerry Ann and Michael Najarian of Massachusetts, his grandchildren, Joey, Alley, Ryan and Kiely Walsh, Kathleen and Michael Najarian and his sisters Claire Mulhern and Christine Buhl. Joe was a friend to all and was always there for everyone. He was kind, loving and supportive to his family and friends. He will be missed. Services will be at a later date. A Memorial Mass will be said 10 am on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Deerfield Beach.
