Joseph Blaze Cammarata was born in Buffalo, NY to Michael Frank Cammarata & Jennie Costanzo on December 7, 1952. He went to school at Cheektowaga, NY. He married Judith Ann Leising on September 9th 1972 in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Maryvale High school. He was a business owner of J & J Towing since 1982. He served in the Florida National Guard and was the Platoon Sergeant in the 743rd Maintence Unit. U.S. Army Reserves- Honorable Discharge, 20-year retirement. He was an active member in the Professional Wrecker Operators of Florida (PWOF) for over 30 years. Joe was a level 1 Light Duty, Medium Duty, Heavy Duty, and Ultra-Heavy Duty Certified Towing & Recovery Operator. Joe was previously on the committee for the PWOF as an instructor to help certify all tow truck operators in Florida. Joe is a retired Auxiliary Lieutenant Trooper for the Florida Highway Patrol Troop K, served for 15 years. Joe was also involved with the Nascar Race Recovery Team with Miller Industries and National Wrecker of New Hampshire
Joseph Blaze Cammarata is survived by his wife Judith Ann Cammarata, his daughter Sheila Marie Friend, son Michael Frank Cammarata and daughter in law Amie Cammarata, daughter Kathleen Ann Lindsey and son in law Thomas James Lindsey, his grandchildren Kelsey Briana Friend, Vanessa Marie Lindsey, Peyton Leanne Friend, Ryan Joseph Lindsey, Mariah Joyce Lindsey, Gianna Lynn Cammarata, Joseph Blaze Cammarata, and Angelina Jayden Cammarata and his beloved dog Squeeky.
Pallbearers will be Michael Frank Cammarata and son Joseph Blaze Cammarata, Thomas James Lindsey and son Ryan Joseph Cammarata, Nephews John Depottter and Brian Depotter. John Baker and Glenn Landau.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00 PM, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:30 PM, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
