Debi and Barbara,I was so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know how much your dad meant to you both.  He had a lot of family members waiting to greet him. I often think of my mom and the stories she would tell of times they would spend on the farm when they were kids.  He was so good to call my mom so often after my dad passed.  May God bless you and keep you both in His love.

Henry was a hero to so many! Husband, Father, Grandfather,Businessman, Marine and most of all, Friend. When Henry entered a room, everything lightened up, because he would put a smile on so many faces. He was truly one of the good guys and touched so  many. Our community and industry has lost an Icon. Our sincere condolences to the family. Hank, Semper Fi!

I liked Henry, he was a good person and he still is.

I have known Mr. Petri since I was in 3rd grade.  Barbi and I were good friends (Debbie too) from elementary school days.  We use to live down the street from one another and would be together all the time.  But I remember Mr. Petri from the days when I would spend the night with Barbi at her home in Pompano Beach.  My mom would drop me off at their house and Mr. Petri would drive me back to Miami when he would go to work the next day.  What a great guy!!  I have not seen him in years, but remember him well.  Great memories you girls will have of your wonderful dad.  You were so very fortunate to have him for so long.

Dear Barbara, Debi and the entire Petri clan. As I am reading this beautiful article about Hank, I realized that you just laid him to rest. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you both and all your family. I know that Hank was the patriarch of the family, no question. He will be missed deeply.  He will always be with you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  Sorry I couldn't be with you today.

Oh I am sorry to hear this news. I always loved having lunch with your father and will especially remember his coming to El Dorado for brunch and he told me that this is what Old Florida was like! All in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Hank's family and my graditude for sharing Hank with us.Hank was one of my best friends,a father figure,business mentor,my walking buddy.I will always remember Hank for:one basic principle of business,Take Care of your customer.Over 30 years of meeting with Hank at various pest control conventions,he would take me on "field trips"to visit progressive pest control firms and share ideas.Hank,was a walking book of knowledge,An honorable Golfer for by the fifth hole he paid off his bet which usually was no more than a nickle a hole,which he explained he was a child of the depression,what a lousy golfer he would dribble the ball to the hole,but what a fun time we had!I have been in the passenger seat of a motor vehicle commanderede by Hank........what an experience!Getting a phone call from Hank was unique for when I picked up the phone, Hank would begin with a reprimand on how I still owe him lunch,Or "Have you paid your Navy League dues".In my office "my girls"thought he was either a retired Admiral or Marine corp.General or they would hang up thinking it was a prank caller.Hank's Heni Youngman/Will Rogers persona would light up a room.I live in a remote rain forest of Maui,with beautiful water falls tucked up in the mountains.Hank at 87 years young hiked with my two sons and I, on the way down he bellowed orders to my sons to push on ahead and have ice ready for him.My son's prepared ice packs to prevent any inflamations.Hank broke open the ice packs and pulled out of his suit case a bottle of the cheapest brand of burbon,that reminded me of the fuel I put into my farm equipment.This story has even a happier ending,we sat and watched the history channels war stories of the South Pacific's Solomon Island battle to build a runway while under enemy fire.Hank quietly said"Hey I was there".Hank pointed out certain areas and tried to recognize faces and land marks, all the while his voice  getting softer.Hank became very quiet and totally focused on what he was watching,for we asked if he was okay,because he had a tear running down his cheek.Hank was pure gold,a class act.

Hank and Ruth were the most loving and caring friends and neighbors we  have ever had.We have many fond memories of them and their children when we were living next door.

I have lost a friend,mentor and father figure. Mr Petri you will never be forgotten. The knowledge you gave me has touch my heart and can never be taken away. I will miss our thirty minute conversations about how the customers are always right. I can promise you that we will contiue to take care of our office girls who you always told me were the front line of the company, And that we will always take care of our customers. Good bye for now my friend I love you!

I have lost a father figure and a great mentor but gained knowledge of life that can never be taken away from me I thank you Mr Petri and love you for touching my heart. With that being said Mr Petri rest in peace and know we will always lead your company with the attitude always take care of the customer.

My mother, Bobbi met Mr. Petri many years ago, and dnot only worked for him, but became a dear friend of both Mr and Mrs Petri.
