I have met a lot of grandparents in my 17 years at St. Paul, but Doreen was always one of my favorites.  She was always so caring and nurturing, it was truly priceless.  I really enjoyed our chats! No words can express what a wonderful caring person Aunt Doreen was. I'm so glad I took the twins down to see her last March. We had such a nice visit....that memory along with many others, I will always treasure.

I have many fond memories of my time spent in Florida with Aunt Doreen and Uncle John - the first drive through bank machine; my first ice cream cake; many memorable birthday celebrations;  many July 1sts spent on the boat watching the spectacular fireworks over the water; my first real BIG fish that almost pulled me into the ocean; the constant teasing from Uncle John - just to mention a few.  One of my favorite memories of Doreen was one night in Buchans when we were all heading out for a nightly stroll (ALL of us with shorts on) and out comes Doreen with a winter coat on because she was freezing!!  That vision still causes me to giggle:)  May the many great memories of such a kind warm hearted mom, aunt, sister and grandma warm your heart and bring you peace and joy in the days ahead - xxoo Denise

Doreen was a very kind Lady .She was the one to always worry,in a caring way not to interfere. We would go out fishing and her head would be on a tilt 'Keith not too many Beer'.When John was up hunting 'Keith how is John doing?'She looked after us well when we visited. In later years her pride and joy were the two girls and her two visits with Delaney were highlights for us all. Lots of great pictures and lots of good memories. Love to all KC and JC
