My Friend David Martin…
Dorothy, Lori & Lisa My Deepest and Heartfelt Condolences to you all.
Dave My Friend was a Dedicated Family Man:
After the first few meetings with Dave there was no doubt that the three Ladies in his life were also the Love of his life. His concern and Devotion to you three Ladies was evident from the very beginning, He talked about you all constantly, and requested prayer for you all regularly
Dorothy you were so special to him … The only time I really saw him breakdown was when he talked about your doctor’s visits and how concerned he was.
Dave My Friend was a man of Integrity:
He was gracious, thoughtful and Kind …
He was a true representation of the Great Generation…
Once he accidentally broke a light on an old car in the church parking lot… here is the text that I received

Sorry. I broke left front light assembly on Cadillac. Please give me year and model so I can try to find at junk yard.
The Home Depot Story…
On one of our visits to Home Depot Dave and I had a difficult time dealing with some of the Home Depot sales people, a manager got involved and Dave must have (in the course of the conversation) raised his voice to the manager … He must not have slept well that night, because his text to me begged for forgiveness as he apologized for his behavior in Home Depot.
Dave My Friend was a man with an attitude of Gratitude:
He never failed to say thank you.

Dave My Friend was a Generous man:
After finding out that one of my goals for the kids of the church was a recording studio … he walked in my office one day and donated all his recording gear to the cause.
One of the last things Dave would do… was to give me a grand tour of his prized trailer before he donated it to our cause… His Generosity will change lives for many years to come.
