She was born to the late Emmett and Teresa Prue, Nov. 21, 1930, in Burlington, Vermont. She married her beloved husband, Raymond Joseph Cleveland in 1947. They shared their life together in Burlington, VT. before relocating to Norristown, PA. They decided to move to a “warmer climate” and spent their remaining years together in sunny Fort Lauderdale.
Constance is survived by three children: Carolyn Cleveland, of Fort Lauderdale; Arlene Montone, of Bradenton; and Martin Cleveland, of Fort Lauderdale. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Constance was predeceased by her loving husband in 1987 and her son Michael Cleveland in 2016.
Constance was an accomplished Tap Dancer with a passion to entertain family and friends, well into her later years. She always passed her appreciation of dance to all her children. Constance was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She will be sorely missed by all.
Viewing ceremony will be held on Monday, Sept 16, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Kraeer Funeral Home. The burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
