Camille Kaie Fung Cap Baptiste was called home to be with the LORD on November 20,2013 at 1:55 AM after a stroke on November 5, 2013.
Camille was born on September 6, 1931 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. At 15 she completed her schooling at Mme. Leonie Coicou Madiou and finished after 5 more years at Mme. Raymonde Colimon Boisson in 1949. In December 1951 Camille met her sweetheart and future husband Joseph Esnold Baptiste. From this union were born Joseph, Kathleen, Alix, Marilyn.
Camille love cooking and was a teacher at "Ecole Hotelliere d'Haiti"1965. In 1967 Camille left Haiti to Liberia where she worked as a secretary at the French Embassy. In 1969 she moved to Chicago and worked at Marshall Fields Co. in the Accounting Department until retirement 1989 in Florida. As a single mother she worked tirelessly to provide the best education available for her four children. She loves her family and friends She was always there for her friends and counsel them in the best way they could have hope for.
Camille is survived by her sons Joseph, Alix her daughters Kathleen, Marilyn. Daughters in law Michelle McBean, Ruth Sylvain, son in law Paul Clerie. Sisters in law Raymonde Ascar and Huguette Joseph Fung Cap.
Grand children Echo, Patricia ,Paul Jason , Alexandra ,Arielle , Alexia ,Claudio , Kristopher, Michael ,Joey, Danielle ,Serge , Stephan .Grandson in law James Eaton, Brandon Means. Great grand children Jordon, Alexis Camille ,Kenneth, Dylan, Gabriella ,Tatiana ,Jayda ,Anaya, Justice . And many adopted grand children.
Sisters Marie Rose Cessant , Yveline Fung Cap, Brothers Yve , Essud ,Gaetchen Fung Cap.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins brother in law and sister in law.
Camille dearly loved her children and grand and great grand children and spoke non stop about them.
Camille's friendship and fellowship will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her . Like Camille, May we never lose sight of the goal of winning our loved ones and friends for Christ.
