Billie Jo Hurst

She was born in Poca, West Virginia on June 26, 1942. Billie Jo graduated from Poca High School and received a Bachelors of Education from Morris Harvey College.

She was married to Carlos Hurst on March 22, 1963.

Billie Jo, a loving housewife raised four daughters and also served as a P.E. Teacher in Kanawha County, West Virginia. She is a member of the West Boca Moose and Pompano Moose and had a passion for the Moose Heart Charity, coloring, and crosswords.

She is survived by her husband Carlos; her four daughters: Tara, Traci, Tasha, and Torre; her eight grandchildren: Brenden, Amanda, Tyler, Austin, Bryce, Emma, Payton, and Madison; and her brother, Bobby.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 13th at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 200 W. Copans Rd., Pompano Beach, FL 33064.

After the Funeral Services, A Celebration of Life will be at the Lighthouse Cove Resort Tiki Bar located at 1406 N. Ocean Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062.
