Bertram Alexander Brown was a man with a humble heart who was known by family and friends for his integrity and love for all. He was affectionately known by his family and friends as Mickey, Brother and B. A. Brown.
Bertram was born to the late Wesley Brown and Geneva Richards on June 5, 1939, in Portland Jamaica, West Indies. He was the oldest of eight children.
Bertram served as a detective in Jamaica West Indies for a number of years and then migrated to Cleveland, Ohio where he worked as a physical therapist assistant until he retired in 2004.
Bertram is survived by his wife Carmel who loves and misses him dearly, and will always cherish the years they had together. His siblings, Foster, Rose (Cecil), Mariam, Joy (Guy), Newman (Janet), Leslie, Marvia (Lavern), and Karin (Joseph). He is survived by his children Barry, Ronald, Marcia (Adrian), Judith (Wayne), Paula (Alrick), Sherdene (Nathaniel), Deon and host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and dear friends.
Bertram will always be remembered for his gentleness, his giving heart and overwhelming kindness towards everyone. He will be missed by his family and friends. He now rest in the arms of God.
