A Veteran of WWII, he served three years in the US Army (710th Tank Batallion), spending some time in the Philippines.
He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Betty (Sarles), second wife Gloria (Smith) DiLoreto, brothers Guerino Jr. (Jerry), Fishkill, NY and Edward G., North Carolina.
Survived by his brother, Louis DiLoreto of Ossining, NY, sister Agatha(Gig), Croton, NY, son, Gary A. DiLoreto, Seminole, FL, daughters Betty L. Rice, Fishkill, NY, and Toni Ann McCall, Minneapolis, MN, his partner, Gloria Rodney, and seven grandchildren six great grandchildren.
In Ossining, he was owner and operator of two service stations, the Char-Broil Restaurant, and after moving to Florida he owned the Whispering Sands Motel in Pompano Beach.
Burial will be in the Veteran's Memorial cemetery, (South Florida Memorial Cemetery, Fort Worth, FL) on February 10, 2017.
