McCARTHY, William (Bill)1947 - 2016It is with great sadness that the family of Bill McCarthy announces his passing on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He leaves to mourn his daughter Jennifer McCarthy (Chris), his son Michael McCarthy (Tania), grandchildren Jacob, Ava, and Ryan, his siblings Brian McCarthy (Donna, Sean, Jamie, Katie, Ashley), Kathleen Kelly (Ron, Autumn, Chris, Kevin), Kenneth McCarthy (Jan, Daragh), Timothy McCarthy (Colleen, Kellie, Kayla, Josh, Meghan), his mother Edith Gorman, the loving mother of his children Nancy Pickleman (McCarthy), and his loving companion Donna Ayote. Predeceased by his brother James and Michael McCarthy. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Mission, 98 Aurora Ave., Pointe Claire. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bill's memory would be appreciated. -
