Sadly we announce the peaceful death of George Mandl at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, an oasis of calm and professionalism in his final hours.
We also wish to acknowledge the great assistance and support of NOVA.
George was the beloved husband of Gwen and loving father to Anthony and Jonathan. He will be greatly missed.
George was a retired professor of Neurophysiology at McGill University. He had a great love of classical music and opera.
We urge you to consider donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence or to NOVA West Island, or to any organization that may provide support for, or research into, the ever growing number of individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or other associated diseases.
