Doreen passed away peacefully in Montreal on October 24, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Dearly loved mother of Susan (Bernie), Dianne, Alison (Michael) and Cheryl-Ann (James). Beloved grandmother of Bill, Michael, Oliver, Jeremiah, Jordan, Courtney, Kellen, Harrison, Victoria and Graham. Predeceased by her brother Ronald and sister Joan. Dearest friend of Alice (Dennis) and Barbara. Doreen was a long time, dedicated employee of Concordia University in the Faculty of Continuing Education and Past President of the Lachine Curling Club. Doreen led a very active life and was involved in countless community and social activities. Most of all, Doreen will be remembered for her contagious joie de vivre. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the staff at the Residence Legault in Beaconsfield, Quebec for their compassion and care over the past several months. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 2 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home located at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe- Claire, QC H9S 3X6. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
