Claire Goyette

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire Turchyn (née Goyette) aged 88 years, of Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Claire passed away peacefully on February 16th, 2023 in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.

Claire was born on March 14, 1934 to the late Edouard Goyette and Alma Lebel in Montreal.

Claire married Maurice Turchyn on June 4, 1966 and spent 57 glorious years together!

Claire is survived by her husband, Maurice Turchyn, children Patricia (Carl), Mark (Lisa) and Elaine (Alexandre); as well as her grandchildren Savannah, Eric, Maxime, Ethan, Zakary, Alexa and Tristan. She is also survived and will be missed by her brother and sisters: Thérèse Deschênes (late Gilles), Raymond Goyette (Micheline) and Louise Goyette. Claire is also survived by many loving family members in the Turchyn family. She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Goyette (Margot Lavoie).

The family would like to thank the staff at the Ste. Anne’s Hospital for their attention and constant dedication for the past 4 years.

Visitation will be Monday February 27th from 6pm to 9pm, and Tuesday February 28th from 2pm to 5pm with a reception to follow at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC H9S3X6
