Kent was predeceased by wife, Elsie O. Buttram; son, William Michael Buttram; daughter, Cynthia Alice Buttram; and grandson, Chris Moore. Loving family who survive are daughter, Peggy Moore Harrell; four brothers: J.C. Buttram of Atlanta, GA, Gerald Buttram (Betty) of Tampa, FL, Phillip Buttram (Marie) of Plant City, FL, George Buttram (Phyllis) of Valrico, FL; four sisters: Ellen Campbell, Ima Jean Jacobs, Alma Copher (Bob), Era Mae Walding (Steve); four grandchildren: Perry Buttram (Debra), Terry Moore, Ronnie Moore, Amey Grantham (Wes); 16 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at Wells Memorial in Plant City, FL on Monday, July 27, 2015, 6-8pm. A funeral service will be at East Thonotosassa Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, 10:00am. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
