Sharon Kay (Alford) Strickland, age 62, died from heart complications on February 21, 2019. She was born in Plant City on February 28, 1956 and lived here most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband Gary F. Strickland, her mother Mary E. Alford, father Lewis G Alford, and brother Eddie Lewis Alford. She is survived by her son Gary Steven Strickland and her longtime boyfriend Gary Mosher (who she thought of as her husband). She is also survived by her sister Mary Ann (Alford) Dunn. Sharon graduated from Plant City High School in 1974.
Sharon worked for Tata Tea for 22 years and was a Quality Control Supervisor. She was fun to be with and always quick with a witty comment. She had the best intentions for everyone in her life and would do anything for anyone. We will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 11am-12pm. A celebration of life service will follow at 12 pm all of which will be held at the Wells Memorial & Event Center at 1903 W Reynolds St. Plant City, FL 33563
