MACK, Ruby I., age 96, of Plant City, FL passed away on November 11, 2016. Ruby was born on November 15, 1919 in Blackville, SC to Lonnie B. Mack and Mary M. (Davis) Mack. She moved to Florida in the 1930's and to Plant City in 1940 at the age of 20. Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church Plant City where she sang in the choir. She was also a longtime volunteer at the Plant City Strawberry Festival. She was a cat lover, loved to travel and work in her yard.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie B. Mack (age 85) and Mary M. Mack (age 93); brothers, Thomas B. Mack (age 90) and Robert O. Mack (age 60); and sister, Mary Magdeline Mack (infant). She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Karen I. Mack, Nicole Brann, Kristina Back, Lindsey Back, Bryson Back and Lincoln Brann.
A funeral service will be at Wells Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 12pm. Visitation will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at West Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City.
