MARVEL, Rodney T., age 87, of Plant City, Florida passed away on April 6, 2017. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Theodore and Vera Marvel. Rodney was a veteran of the US Army, US Air Force and a retiree from the US Navy. He was a Christian man who loved his cows.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Umeko Marvel, along with his siblings. Family members who survive are three sons, Mike Marvel, Karl Marvel (Beverly), Rod Marvel (Phyllis); two daughters, June Marvel, Donna Marvel; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be at Wells Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 11am-12pm. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10am.
