CARR, Nora, age 85, from Plant City passed away on November 28, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. It is with saddened hearts that the family shares this news. She was born in Northumberland, New Castle, England, the youngest of three children. She married Robert Carr in 1952. She was a double decker bus conductress before moving to Canada in 1956, then Battle Creek, MI before settling in Plant City in 1982.
Beloved by all that knew her, she was an expert knitter - knitting newborn caps for the local hospital nursery, and a loyal friend. She is survived by her grandson, Justin Carr; granddaughter, Amber Carlsen of New Port Richey; three great grandchildren: Kylee, Katelyn and Kelsey - all from Harrah, OK; and longtime friend and caregiver, Rhonda Durham.
A celebration gathering will take place at Wells Memorial in Plant City on December 2, 2015 from 6-8pm.
