Nick Ellis Knight

Nick was born on December 2, 1966 in Plant City, Florida to Teeny Knight and Shirley Mullis. Nick attended Mulberry High School and was a life long resident of Polk and Hillsborough Counties. He worked for W.S. Badcock Corp., Plant City Division of Streets and Sewers, and most recently was a heavy equipment machine operator for many construction firms all over the East Coast.

Nick had a huge smile, an infectious laugh, and never met a stranger. If you were lucky enough to be counted as his friend, you were FAMILY and knew that he loved you as such.

Nick is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Jackson Knight, Sr. "Teeny" and his mother, Shirley. He is survived by his sister, Vickie, his brother Rudy and their children. He is also survived by a large extended family and a multitude of friends.

There will be no formal service at this time, we will instead have a gathering of family and friends at a later date for a Celebration of Nick's life in Memorial. The family can be reached at 270 Shady Acres Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29307.
