He was a member of New Hope at Cornerstone Church in Plant City where he was actively involved in ministries such as helping the homeless communities and missions. Because of his love of missions, he supported an orphan thru the Dreams United Ministry and was very passionate about serving the Lord and helping those in need. He loved to study the Bible and serve in the Street Ministry to help bring people to Christ. He was a great leader and role model for his family. He also loved to cook and barbeque as well as hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was also affectionately known as being a “mama’s boy”. He was an HVAC Tradesman and an excellent carpenter and could make anything out of wood.
He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth and Steve Kuehnau and Robert and Sandi Konyn; his loving wife of 7 years, Heather, whom he married on July 24, 2015; his children, Justin Flack, Ashley Jones (Troy), Chris Sparks, Michael Sparks (Chrysee), Kimberly Swift (Nate); his grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Makayla Jones, CJ Sparks, Hunter Sparks, Easton Sparks, Cooper Sparks, Olivia Sparks, Maddie Sparks,
and Eli Swift; siblings, Michelle Jernigan (Jason), Scott Konyn, Andrew Konyn, Brandon Couvillan (Samantha), Zac Couvillan (Andrea), and Devin Couvillan (Mandi).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5th beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at New Hope at Cornerstone Church, 315 N. Collins St., Plant City, FL 33563. The service will be officiated by Michael Swiney and John Swiney.
