Hall, John Philip, 73, of Plant City passed away on August 12, 2020. He was born on August 12, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia to Samuel Dewey Foster and Ruth Josephine Cales. His mother divorced when he was very young and then married Harry J. Hall.
John married Betty J. Kay on September 30, 1968 in Plant City, Florida. They had 6 children; Richard Philip Hall (Emma Louise) of Plant City, John David Hall (Carmen) of Valrico, Sue Ellen Hall Stevens, James Hall Begert (John) of Wilton Manor, Christopher Lee Hall of Pennsylvania, and Tina Leann Hall Greaves (Ollis) of Plant City. 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He served in the Air Force for 20 years (1967-1987) and was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, Misawa Air Force Base, Japan; Holloman Air Force Base, Homestead, Florida; Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany; and Offutt Air Force Base, New Mexico. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked as a car salesman for B.M. Smith Motors and later was a warehouse manager for spa factories such as Gatsby Spas and Premium Leisure.
He was predeceased by his parents; and Avery Hall and Armani Greaves. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 plus years, Betty J.; his siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
A service will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 905 W. Terrace Drive, Plant City, Florida 33563.
