Homer E. "Jack" Wall Sr.

Wall Sr., Homer (Jack) E., age 83, passed away on Oct. 14, 2012 at home. A lifelong resident of the area, Jack was born in Sydney, FL. on Oct. 10, 1929 to Reid and Cora Lee (Rouse) Wall. He married Mamie Louise (Caruthers), who survives.

Mr. Wall was a WWII and Korean veteran of the US Air Force. He worked and retired from CSX Railroad after 42 years of employment. He is a member of Sydney Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Louise Wall, three sons, Homer E. Wall Jr. (Kathy), Harvey E. Wall (Stephanie), John D. Wall (Florissa Colina), one brother, Dr. Wendell E. Wall (Judy), and a sister, Linda Lee Frink (Ron), eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday October 18, 2012 11:00 AM at the Sydney Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 PM at Wells Memorial & Event Center. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Tampa.
