Cruz, George Sr., 86 of Thonotosassa, Florida passed away peacefully at his property on November 8, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1935 in Tampa, Florida to Anario and Isabella Gonzalez Cruz. He was proud to have been born and raised in Florida and is a true Floridian.
He was a Jack-of-all-Trades. His hobbies were fishing, “tinkering”, and gardening.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Rosie; grandson, Derek Fowler; and great granddaughter, Callie Lundy.
He is survived by his children; Debra Cruz Berg (Larry), Linda Antonetti, Liz Omelia (Mark), and George Cruz (Kimberly), siblings; Martha, Raymond, Rolando, and Milagro, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his property in Thonotosassa on Saturday, November 13th beginning at 1:00 p.m.
