SAPP, Everett Talmadge, age 86, of Plant City, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2015. Everett worked at Publix, Ernie Haire Ford, USF, Reynolds Metals, and alongside his wife, Margie, at their family business, Margie's Plants and Things. He was a former member of East Sligh Avenue Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida where he taught Sunday School for 35 years before moving to Plant City. As a Plant City resident, he was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where he taught Adult Sunday School for 14 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Talmadge Sapp and Lillie Mae (Hart) Sapp; brother, Jimmy Clair Sapp; and sister, Minnie Juanita Morgan. Loving family who survive is his beautiful wife of 67 years, Marjorie "Margie" Sapp; son, Ronnie Sapp (Kim); daughters: Karen Collinsworth (Don), Gina Collins (Luke); eight grandchildren: Valorie, Eric, Travis, Michael, Paul, Cody, Lauren, Amanda; and fifteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, 11am-12pm at Harmony Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida. A funeral service will be at 12pm, followed by burial at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund.
Pallbearers will be Everett's six grandsons: Travis Collinsworth, Paul Brumbles, Michael Collins, Scott Richardson, Darrin Porter, Eric Ayala; and honorary pallbearer will be brother-in-law, Jack Jones.
