NELSON, Ellen “Winnie”, age 90, passed away in Plant City, FL on August 2, 2016. She was a charter member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Tampa and worked as a nurse at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Nelson. Loving family who survive are two sons, Rodney (Gail) Nelson, Byron (Marsha) Nelson; five grandchildren, Darcy Nelson, Leslie Nelson, Iris Luckey, Holly Nelson, Travis Nelson; and seven great grandchildren, Ian, Dakota, Kailee, Madison, Sterling, Heidi, and Zack.
Visitation will be at Wells Memorial in Plant City on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 10-11am. A funeral service will be at 11am and burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Tampa.
