Hal,

It is now 11 years since your passing and you are still a fond memory in my mind here at the Bruton Memorial Library. I will share with my book club the poem  The Dash.  Your service was the first time I heard it at the age of 46. Your Dash was so full of fond experiences.  We keep you in our hearts.

In a few days it will be seven years since you left us.   We miss you terribly.   I miss your hugs, your smile and times we spent together as a family.    As we grow older I see your mannerism and looks in Rod.    I feel so blessed to have you as my father in law.

Hal was one of the most big hearted men I can honestly say that I have ever known, and it wasn't surprising that at his memorial service the church was filled to capacity!  

I will always remember his generosity like when he drove 45 minutes (one way) to my home with a trailer to pick up my donations for the center for abused woman and when Hal and his friend helped build a laundry room in the garage and a another time they helped to build a shed.

I will also remember Hal whittling some amazing figurines in his car port, and finding him fast asleep in his easy chair during social gathering.  

But these are the things Hal has done and I will remember him for, but when you meet with any of his children you can't help but see Hal alive in all of them.  God Bless You Hal.

Although I never met Dr. Brewer, I feel like I have know him through the humor and strength of character he instilled in his son, who is my friend. My family and I are sending our love and support for all of you!

Dr. Hal made a tremendous impact on the Plant City Community. Many lives have been affected by him and his service to the community. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers are for the family and friends of this great gentleman. May God bless you and keep you.

We are thinking of you both during this difficult time. You and your family are in out thoughts and prayers. Be safe and keep the special moments close at heart.

A more compassionate man there can not be. Dr Brewer was a gift to mankind and he leaves behind a role that can be filled by no other. Lynn, Gregg, and family, please accept our condolences.

What a wonderful friend and Dr. He will be so missed. I taught both his son and grandson. I plan to remain facebook friends with them for a long long time.

I am so lucky to  have known, such an incredible, passionate, fun loving, caring man...he will always be remembered and never forgotten!!!! If only we could all live a life as full as his....

Dr. Brewer will be missed by anyone who ever had the privledge of meeting him . He is a man of integrity and such a kind person, always willing to give advice or an encouraging word.. ...I will miss seeing him @ The Theatre ... I thank God for allowing me to be a part of Dr. Hal Brewer's enormous list of friends.  He made a positive impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him - and I will truly miss his wonderful story telling. My prayers are with the entire Brewer family who I dearly love.

The Brewer's were our neighbors many years ago on Tever Street. They were a wonderful family and he was a wonderful, caring man.

I knew Dr Brewer for many, many years. I was a patient and also babysat for his kids. He will be missed by everyone.

We loved Dr Hal. He was a large part of our lives from Toastmasters to Community Theater. Plant City lost a treasure. Our prayers are with the family.

I WILL MISS DR. BREWER COMING IN THE DOORS OF THE PLANT CITY PHOTO ARCHIVES.  HE AND LYNN WERE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP WITH ALL OF OUR FUNCTIONS.  HE WOULD ALWAYS SIT DOWN AT MY DESK AND ASK ME HOW I WAS AND HOW LIFE WAS TREATING ME.  HE ALWAYS TRULY CARED.  I LOVED TO HEAR ALL OF HIS STORIES FROM THE PAST.  HE WAS SUCH A HUGE PART OF PLANT CITY AND WILL ALWAYS BE A HUGE PART OF PLANT CITY. HE WILL REMAIN IN MY HEART FOREVER.  I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN DOC.

I did know Dr. Brewer from visiting our office off and on, i work for Dr. Gutowski,  and he was always the nicest man. I will not be able to make it to the visitation or funeral but i send my love and prayers to all of his family. God Bless

In my eyes Dr. Brewer could walk on water.  He was the most compasionate, caring friend and wonder physician I have ever known. Each time I was fortunate to run into him out somewhere after he retired, he never failed to ask how Tony and Micci were doing and genuinely cared.  The world is a better place just because he was here.

Besides my parents, Dr. Brewer was the most influential adult in my teenage years. I wish to send my condolences to his family. He was funny, kind, generous, patient, and, by the way, a great doctor. I am deeply saddened by his loss.

From my view Dr. Brewer is from a earlier time where Family Doctors were greater than the sums of their parts delivering excellent medical care to as many he could treat.

I never got the privilege of meeting Doc Brewer, but I have heard wonderful stories from my family & your grandson Nick, you will be missed but one day we will all meet again! My dearest thoughts & prayers. May The Lord shower your  family & love ones with lots of Love & Care at this difficult time.
