Polk, Doris Jean, 92 of Plant City entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2021. She was born in Plant City, Florida on November 24, 1928 to Wallace and Bessie Brown. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Her hobbies included reading the Bible, word puzzles and listening to Gospel Music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard W. Polk; brother, Travis Brown; and sister, Dorothy Davis.
She is survived by her son; Dale Polk and wife, Nancy; her daughter, Rhonda Polk Phillips and husband, Jeff Phillips; three grandchildren, Chad Snellgrove, Scott Phillips, and Brandon Polk; one great-grandchild, Ryder Phillips and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 15th at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida at 5:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Plant City, Florida.
