Donie Brown

She was the manager for the Publix Corporate Kitchen for many years and was a member of Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. She was a very loving and giving person with a true servant’s heart. Her hobbies were quilting, sewing, crocheting, helping others, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donnell Brown; children, Donna Kaye Ryman (Clark), Debra Chitwood (George), and Donald Brown (Sheri); grandchildren, Tiffany Cox (Lawton), Trey Chitwood (Kirstie), Zach Brown (Jeri), Heith Brown (Haylee), Gavin Chitwood, and Abigail Hunter (Coltin); seven great grandchildren; Brantsen Chitwood, Makenna Chitwood, Sandy Jo Brown, Everett Chitwood, Kent Brown, Savannah Brown, and Wrenley Chitwood, and other extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church, 4543 Waring Road, Lakeland, Florida from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Shiloh Cemetery in Plant City, Florida.
