Betty Jean Ceto

Betty Jean Ceto, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 12, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on January 10, 1941, in Hillsborough County, Florida to Wendell and Martha Mullis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, and her son, Johnny Richard. She is survived by her children Tammy (Larry) Murray and Mark (Diana) Ceto, nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Betty was married for 62 years to her sweetheart, Johnny. Together they raised three children. She spent time working at a daycare and loved children. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind wonderful memories for all who knew her and will always be affectionately known as nanny.

A funeral service will be held at Wells Memorial, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563 on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Seffner Cemetery.
