Aric was born to Rhochelle Gagne Casas and Ovidio Casas Jr. on December 19, 1989 in San Jose, California. He was a Florida trained and licensed barber at My Town Barber Shop & Salon and enjoyed the brotherhood that he had there. He was known by the affectionate name of Aric the Bearded Barber. Aric met Hailey, his future wife, while she was a freshman in high school and became her high school sweetheart. They officially proclaimed their love to the world and God when they wed on February 13, 2016. Aric and Hailey enjoyed living their lives together while residing in Plant City. He was a new, born-again Christian who loved to worship the Lord and attended The River at Tampa Bay Church. Aric enjoyed playing table top war games with his crew he named, The Malicious Intent. He was an avid Star Wars fan and collector. A strong passion of his was guns and gunsmithing, while being a patriot for the country that he loved.
Aric was preceded in death by his grandfathers Robert Gagne and Ovidio Casas. He is survived by his wife Hailey Barta Casas, mother Rhochelle Gagne Casas, sister Brianna Casas, brother Victor Casas, grandmothers Patricia Gagne and Maria Cisneros, father Ovidio Casas Jr., and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends across the nation.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563 and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be followed at the same location, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
