Born on October 10, 1933, in Vietnam, Mr. Pham led a life marked by dedication to education, family, and the arts.
Mr. Pham spent the first part of his professional life as a beloved Math teacher in Vietnam, where he inspired and educated students for 20 years mostly in Phan Thanh Gian High School in Can Tho. His passion for learning and his gentle demeanor made him a cherished figure in the classroom and a mentor to many.
As the Vietnam War ended, Mr. Pham and his family migrated to the United States, where he embarked on a second career as a computer programmer. His adaptability and determination allowed him to master this new field, contributing significantly to Microwave Communications, Inc., MCI, where he worked and set an example of lifelong learning.
Throughout his life, Mr. Pham's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, mentoring his students, and learning from his colleagues. Upon retiring, Mr. Pham indulged in his love for poetry, finding joy and solace in the written word. His poems, filled with wisdom and emotion, reflected his rich life experiences and deep appreciation for beauty.
He travelled extensively to be with his children and grandchildren and to reconnect with his former students. Wherever he was, he brought warmth and laughter; stories were shared, and memories were cherished.
He is survived by his loving family, who will continue to honor his legacy of kindness, wisdom, and resilience.
A come and go memorial gathering to share memories and celebrate the life of Mr. Pham's life will be held from 1 PM to 4 PM on Saturday July 27th, 2024, at Ted Dickley Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX 75074.
Mr. Tri Khac Pham's life was a testament to the power of education, the strength of the human spirit, and the importance of family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
