I've known Coach T my entire life. Literally... he held me as a newborn, was my 3rd grade PE coach, coached me at Plano from 10th to 12th grade, and poured love and wisdom into my life at every possible stage, up until the day he passed . There are several memories that come to mind when I think of Coach T: his bellowing voice echoing through the hallway as we ran in from the bus to practice, his ginormous hands swallowing up my head as a child (and probably as an adult), his own personal Campisi's pizza after games that he always shared with me and my brothers, his leading hundreds of FCA meetings and every year's Christmas Party at the Douglass Rec Center, and many, many more. Sharing all these memories would no doubt extend well past the max 2000 length this post allows. But what will always stand out about Coach T is his unwavering faith that he shared with thousands of people throughout his lifetime. He is one of the main reasons I am the Christian I am today, and it should be everyone's goal to make even a tiny portion of the impact on others like Coach T did on so many.  He poured his love and faith into everyone, no matter whether you were the starting QB, worst player on the team, teacher, friend, or janitor late in the night after a long practice. THAT is the way to live and lead. We miss you dearly, Coach T, but there is no doubt in my mind where you are, and I cannot wait to meet again someday.

Steve's real last name was Ndoni - Albanian, of course. Steve's dad was put on a ship in Albania  as a young man  and sailed to America. He was told to look for a man named Thomas.  Upon arrival in New York, he was asked his name. He said 'Thomas' looking for his connection in the states.  That day he became Tony Thomas and all his  future children would be  named Thomas.  Stavarose Ndoni - Steve Thomas.
