Stacey and Lester were married in Garland Texas on March 6, 1999 and sealed in the Dallas Texas Temple March 11, 2000 for time and all eternity.
Stacey is survived by her husband, Lester Beasley, Jr. Parents James Anthony Gerace and Gail Pernal Gerace. Her brother Vincent James Gerace and sister-in-law Teresa Mitchell Gerace and their son Andrew Gerace. Her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Catherine Beasley Rosenman and their daughter Sarah Spence. Aunts and Uncles Ed and Marilyn Gerace Coombs and Marco and Nancy Gerace Pimpinella and many cousins.
Stacey was proceeded in death by her older brother Nicholas James Gerace, her grandparents Vera Lucinda Jones, David Morris Jones, James Anthony Gerace, and Mary Frances Conte Gerace.
Stacey was beloved by all who knew her. She was a nurse for over 30 years, an oncology nurse for over 20 years, and was loved and respected by her doctors and fellow nurses. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings as a teacher and a leader and loved the sisters, brothers, and children she was called to serve.
Stacey was an avid quilter and was beloved by ladies from all over the country who met her at retreats. Stacey was a dog lover and had many over the years. Stacey loved to travel and cruise and visited many places over the years.
Stacey was known for her cooking and worked for Pizza Hut and later Tom Thumb while studying to be a nurse. She was awarded a blue ribbon at the City of Murphy Maize Days for her recipe. She loved to play games with family and friends.
There will be a private graveside service for family and a memorial service will be scheduled later this year.
