Aviel was his Jewish name given to him at his Bar Mitzvah. I called him Avi.
His Grandparents raised him from age 7.
His Grandfather was a Baptist preacher and he found out that he was Jewish from his maternal Grandmother, her side of the Family.
Robin traveled internationally throughout his life, childhood through his senior years. 
At 17, as he graduated from high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served for six years during the Vietnam era. He was trained at one point as a navy seal. His tour of duty was mainly on ships in the Mediterranean working mostly around aircraft and did acquire a pilots license. He was sent to Spain and Vietnam but also trained for a time in Israel with the IDF.
Before working in media for Mary Kay for 11 years at her conventions he had a photography business in Dallas. He study photography at the university of Houston.
He is retired from C.R. Smith museum of American Airlines at DFW where he worked in media.

Robin and i met and married at Eitz Chaim congregation, but were also members of Shalom Shalom congregation founded by Zola Levitt and Todd Baker. Todd became a good friend and invited us both to join him on TJF outreaches to Israel (2012-2019). This was the highlight of our lives... meeting people in Israel and giving complete Hebrew Bibles to those who were intersested and wanted to know more.

Robin was people oriented and had a love for the Bible and for Israel.
He had just finished writing a book on the character and righteousness of Daniel. He did not focus on the prophecies of Daniel. Dr. Todd Baker is writing the introduction to the book and both Todd and Dr. August Rosado of TJF outreaches plan to have it published.

Robin is deeply missed here on earth by Family and Friends but we are comforted as we know his trust was completely in Yeshua. It was his time and Yeshua has received him.

Oh my how my heart is heavy!  Robin and I shared a very special bond of laughter, admiration, and the same birthday ( different years) I will miss him deeply yet surely heaven is laughing and guarded well because of his presence!  May his memory be a blessing!!!  Blessings and comfort to this precious family!

Robin is a dear friend and we will miss him greatly. This picture is from our vow renewal, Robin blew the shofar to announce us. We celebrated many events over the years, enjoyed many Passover celebrations, men’s retreats and shul. I will miss your hugs my friend. 

Robin wrote on this picture, “I hope you still feel small when you stand next to the ocean. 
I hope when one door closes, I hope another opens for you. 

And when you get the chance to sit it out or dance…

I hope you dance!”

We will all remember Robins dancing! I don’t know anyone who couldn’t smile and join in the joy when Robin would dance a little jig or dance through the congregation following the Torah scroll. 

We thank our Lord Jesus for allowing our paths to cross Robin’s and Kathryn Sue’s these past few years. What a dear, sweet and delightful friends they have been in our lives, Robin’s sense of humor and love of the Lord always brightened the room. May God Bless this beautiful, loving family in their tragic loss. Robin will remain always in our hearts and forever with our Lord✝️ Until we meet again Shalom
