Ricky Rick Wayne Hartline Sr.

Ricky Wayne Hartline, Sr., born on December 15, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX to Ray Hartline, Sr. and Jeannette Jeanes Lehman, passed away on August 31, 2013 after a long struggle with Pneumonia and complications.

Rick grew up in Texas then moved to Joplin, Missouri in 1969 with his family where he met and married Brenda Jean Hartline in March of 1974. Rick and Brenda returned to the north Dallas area shortly after marriage where they raised four children. Rick worked as an electrician throughout his life and contributed to many Habitat for Humanity homes in the Dallas area.

Rick is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda Jean Hartline, his four children, Angel Hartline, Ricky Wayne Hartline, Jr., Sarah Jean Hartline and Kathleen Jeannette "Kathy" Hartline, as well as his beloved grandson, Tristan Luke Andrade.

Rick is predeceased by his father, Ray Hartline, Sr., and is survived by his mother, Jeannette Lehman, his brother and sister-in-law, Ray & Ann Hartline, Jr., his sister and brother-in-law, Denise & John England, and his sister, Gail Montez. Rick also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Jean Owens, several adored nieces and nephews, and many very good friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th Street, Plano, TX 75074. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, 1:00 to 3:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
