Richard Warren Kincaid

He was born on October 4, 1926 in Holiday, Texas. After serving in World War II in the Army Air Corp, he married Elsie Elizabeth Schuetze Kincaid in Corpus Christi. He graduated from Texas A&I University in Kingsville with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1956, he practiced in Corpus Christi and founded the accounting firm Gowland, Kincaid, Guy, Fancher & Davis. He served numerous professional and community organizations, including the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Southern Western Accounting Group (SWAG) and Lion’s Club, and was a member of Corpus Christi Country Club. He retired to the Dallas area in 1989.

Richard is predeceased by his mother Effie Mae Arthur Kincaid, father Warren Reese Kincaid and brothers Douglas and Don.

He is survived by wife E. Elizabeth of Plano, daughter Carol Kincaid of Atlanta, son Warren Kincaid of Allen and wife Vicki, daughter Sandra White of Lewes, Delaware and son Robert Kincaid of Plano and wife Holly. He is also survived by grandchildren (Richard & Michele Kincaid. John & Katherine Kincaid, Barrett & Colleen White, Byron White and Brek White) and great grandchildren (Aiden Kincaid and Ainsley Kincaid).

Services will be held at The Church of The Holy Nativity, located in Plano, Texas, at 2pm on Saturday, May 25, 2013
