Rebecca Leigh Stoeckler, age 52, of Oak Point, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was born on May 19, 1960 in Dallas to Bill and Josephine Sellers. Becky was currently employed at First Baptist Church of Plano, where she taught pre-school for the past five years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church for several years. Becky had a strong Christian faith that manifested her life. She was an animal lover, enjoyed the outdoors and going on country drives. Becky was a radiant, loving person with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Becky is survived by her loving husband, John Stoeckler; three daughters, April Deats and husband, Jeff, of Dallas, Katie Bloodgood of Flint and Allison Bloodgood of Waxahachie; five grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, Hudson, Hazel and Mikayla; parents, Bill and Josephine Sellers; two sisters, Sharon Liles and husband, Bob, of Frisco and Sally Ashner and husband, Larry, of Plano; uncle and aunt, Bobby and Betsy Sellers of Fairview; aunt, Dee Sellers of Austin; and four nieces and their husbands, Kim and Craig Braley of Wylie, Heather and JD Grimsley of Dallas, Jennifer and Eddie Cawlfield of Plano, and Kristen and Joe Morehead of Wylie. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 10am in First Baptist Church of Plano, 1300 E. 15th St. Plano, TX 75074 with Pastor Jerry Carlisle officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212.
